Objective

In honor of the upcoming theatrical release of Mortal Kombat II, climb as high as you can up the Endless Tower in 5 minutes, using only a character and kameo who appears in the new film.

Submit your gameplay video with how far you made it in the challenge. The players with Rank #1 through #25 on this leaderboard with submissions that pass verification will receive the designated prizes. All other players ranked #25 and beyond are not considered the primary winners, but will also be recognized as having accomplished something amazing!

1. Basic Requirements

DATES:

Open for submissions through 5/17/2026 at 11:59PM PT.

ELIGIBLE TERRITORIES:

Submissions are accepted globally but prizes can only be provided to winners within the eligible territories:

  • North America: United States of America, Canada
  • Europe:  France (not including its overseas collectivities or regions), Germany, Italy, Netherlands, United Kingdom of Great Britain, Spain
  • LATAM:  Costa Rica, Puerto Rico, Brazil, Mexico, Dominican Republic, Argentina

2. Submission Process

RULES

Climb as far as you can in the Endless Tower using Default Settings within 5 minutes.

Mode: Endless Towers in Klassic Towers

Settings: Default (2 out of 3 rounds, default round timer, default health, default Kameo system). No modifiers, consumables, or assist items.

Character Selection: Must be a playable fighter who appears in the Mortal Kombat II (2026) film. Eligible characters include:

  1. Johnny Cage
  2. Liu Kang
  3. Kung Lao
  4. Scorpion
  5. Noob Saibot
  6. Raiden
  7. Kitana
  8. Baraka
  9. Sindel
  10. General Shao
  11. Quan Chi
  12. Shang Tsung

Kameo Selection: Pair your fighter with a Kameo who appears in the Mortal Kombat II (2026) film. Eligible characters include:

  1. Scorpion
  2. Kung Lao
  3. Jax
  4. Kano
  5. Sonya Blade

TIMING

Player must run an external 5-minute timer (the game has no internal timer for this mode). The timer starts at the first “Fight!” call. Levels completed after 5 minutes have elapsed do not count.

SCORING

Your reported score is the highest tower level reached when 5 minutes is reached, and that is what must be reported. The more tower levels you are able to complete within the 5 minutes, the higher your reported score and the better your ranking will be on the leaderboard relative to the other submitting players.

All submitted video performances must be uploaded through this page’s SUBMIT ENTRY button to be considered as a formal submission. Supplying links to externally hosted videos of your performances as evidence is disallowed.

3. Video Requirements

Video Submission

  • Your video must include the entire performance, from start to finish.
  • The video must be clear, high-resolution, and free of visual obstructions to ensure all objectives are visible and verifiable.
  • Game audio must be included and clearly audible.
  • Include video capture of the entire performance from menu start through the 5-minute mark. This is required as evidence, and the gameplay depicted must be of good resolution and framerate, clear and unobscured enough to visually identify the difficulty setting, the character selection, and to count each tower level cleared in the video performance.

Prohibitions & Restrictions

  • Team play or external assistance of any kind is not acceptable. Your performance must clearly be a solo accomplishment.
  • Videos hosted on external platforms will not be accepted; submissions must be uploaded directly via the SUBMIT ENTRY button.

Video submissions that do not satisfy these requirements may be rejected.

4. Additional Info

  • In the event of a tie, the earlier submission will be ranked higher.
  • Player may submit multiple times in order to climb the leaderboard. Only the players top verified score will stay on the leaderboard. To do this, players must earn “submission points” by participating in peer review and “Vote” on submissions of other  participants in the leaderboard.
  • Twin Galaxies’ General Gameplay Global Rules apply unless overridden by the specific rules above.
  • Phone number provided in the submission process will only be used to verify account and derive the country of participant.
  • Prizes and prize communication (with exception of the 10 Euro or equivalent voucher) will be sent via messages in the Twin Galaxies platform. After June 8, 2025, check back for updates on the challenge and prizes in your Twin Galaxies inbox.
  • Prizes will be sent out after all submissions have been adjudicated.
